Development. Street Football Meeting.

Class Integrated Project, September 2009, IES Carlos III Aguadulce: "Do you think a project, a person or a small group of people can transform society, can have an impact on the world, can make it better?" After some discussion among students skeptical and the few people who believed it possible, eventually cited several examples of great people, that even today, his words transformed, and the mention of a case, not so famous, but this: the Centro Cultural y Deportivo San Isidro in Bolivia. An example of how a project on someone's mind is embodied, and also thanks to more people joining, they can transform a neighborhood, society, unite people, etc..

Motivated by the work of this center, a group of students (Irene, Mariam and Beatriz) sent by post workshop materials Christmas cards as part of your project. Another group of students took the initiative to make your project a united street soccer tournament in high school (Caramel and Mustapha) and was in recess and left pointing. The idea was to hold a football tournament with the methodology of street football, where each participant works with a euro and the money raised would be sent to the Centro Cultural y Deportivo San Isidro.

This would be achieved promote solidarity and sportsmanship among students, and supports the activities of the center of Bolivia. would be held before Christmas, but the rain made the suspension. But since there is an ill wind that blows no good, this meant that we had more time to refine the project and it spread to more people, was approved by the Senate and the School Board in connection with activities that celebrate the day of Andalusia under the slogan "Andalusia solidarity." This could be sent leaflets to every family with links to the center where they could have qualified for the collection, reporting on the tournament solidarity. Students coordinators reported methodology of street football notes thanks to Marcelo and Juan Pablo, provided by them and Yamile, so in a break from the day before a representative from each team came to the meeting to establish the rules of the game.

And like a good football team, the union is strength and more than $ 100 have been sent. They played 20 teams of 5 people each, boys and girls, for all courses: 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the ESO to the cultural diversity that characterizes our school, students from different cultures and from other countries. It
could play for almost the whole day was fun for everyone, there was no fighting or competition, as there was no prize, only the satisfaction of playing to play and help a @ s s obesity in the other hemisphere of the world but with the same passion for football.
This project is answered the question we asked in the first class, the ideas embodied in one or few people can make connections between people, reduce distances and thus help to change society in which we live.
